Dry Clean Express, which provides dry cleaning services on the way to Paris with three stores, carries its growth performance in Turkey abroad. The company will open three stores in the famous shopping street Champs Elysées. LEYLA İLHAN-İSTANBUL Dry Clean Express, which joined the dry cleaning market in 2006, which is among the top 4 sectors that make the most money in the world, became one of the 100 fastest growing brands in Turkey. DryClean Express, the first brand to bring GreenEarth technology, an ecological system, to the Turkish dry cleaning market, goes to the world-famous shopping street of Paris, the Champs-Elysée with three stores. Fatih Avşar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dry Clean Express, explained that their entry into the sector started in 2003 by establishing laundry and textile finishing companies within the AGS Group of Companies operating in the field of Textiles, and by doing corporate washing for hotels, and in 2006, Dry Clean Express was appointed to address the individual market. He said they set it up. Noting that they provide service with 80 businesses, Avşar said that they have become one of Turkey's 100 fastest growing brands in the past period. Avşar noted that the opening works of 5 stores are still continuing. He wants to grow abroad as in Turkey Avşar stated that they aim to achieve a serious growth abroad as well as in the country, and said: "We have registered our brand in 42 countries. Therefore, we plan to expand abroad as well. For this, we participate in fairs abroad. We are still in Georgia, Ukraine. We are getting ready to open in Russia and Italy as well. We are planning to expand in the Balkans and Europe and Arab countries. As of the end of May, we will open two stores at different points in Champs Elysées. The third one will be in the shopping mall to be opened on the street.” Fatih Avşar, who stated that they grew up with the franchising model at a rate of 90 percent in order to provide better service, noted that white-collar employees such as doctors, lawyers and senior company executives received franchising from them. Avşar stated that the investment pays for itself in 18 months if the store is opened in the right place. Emphasizing that the demand for dry cleaning has increased with the entry of women into business life, the increase in woolen and cotton clothes compared to the past, and the developing shopping malls, Avşar noted that people now give home textile products such as curtains, pillows, and bed linen to dry cleaning in addition to their clothes. Stating that the size of the sector in Turkey has reached 500 million Euros, Avşar explained that a legal regulation will be made regarding the sector in Turkey, as in Europe, and said, “Dry cleaning is done with chemicals. EU countries have switched to organic dry cleaning. With the new application, the organic system will be used in Turkey as in Europe. Many companies will be eliminated because this will bring a new cost.” Fatih Avşar, who said that they especially take place in shopping malls, said, "There is a lot of competition in this field because a store is reserved for dry cleaning in shopping malls. 800 people apply to open a dry cleaners in a shopping mall. They are trying to get a place here by putting someone in between," he said.
